The focus on standards for the sector should be high quality, compliant installations, and these standards need to be clear, relevant and accessible for all contractors.
After 18 months of contractor and consumer research, MCS has set out proposals for a major redevelopment. The six-week consultation is now open and is looking for responses to proposals to:
· Simplify the scheme
· Bring clarity to complaints
· Ensure value and effectiveness of financial protections
· Focus on delivered quality
